Students are required to master the content of the ServSafe Manager's Course and be able to successfully pass the ServSafe Manager's exam or an equivalent in their second year. We will study servsafe throughout the program, and the following materials are available to students to help prepare for class lectures and for the tests. The Culinary Instructor at Horizon High School is a ServSafe Certified Instructor and Proctor, and is qualified to teach and administer the written and online ServSafe Manager's exam. Students will receive instruction for ServSafe following the most recent edition available to them as issued by ServSafe.
